Farewell Cards X 3

We are saying good bye to 3 of our dear colleagues who have been working very closely these years.

With heart full of gratitude, tons of best wishes and a little sadness, I have crafted them cards to say my farewell to them.

The first card is clean and simple. I used the Concord and 9th detailed flower stamp and versa black ink to stamp the image, then used heroarts pale tomato, SSS duckling and SSS Audrey blue to fill in the flowers. I have also used the faux splashes in the stamp set to give the card some interest.

Lastly, I chose the sentiment “Flowers are always a good idea” for this card. Inside I wrote “whether it’s for an end or a new beginning”. I think the card suits the person who received it.

The 2nd card is created with Concord and 9th turnabout faucet stencil, hero arts my monthly hero kit Aug 2017 and papertrey ink feather finery stamp.

The background was stenciled in with distress tattered rose, tea dye, Victorian velvet and dusty concord ink. Then I stamped the feather in with the same dusty concord ink. I just love this feather. I also used the dots in the stamp set and heart it with sparkling embossing powder to give some texture to this card.

Afterwards I’ve stamped the birds in the mmh stamp set with altenew wrmk grey ink set to give even more texture. Then I use this girl image, stamped with black and heatset using clear embossing powder then fussy cut the image out and foam mounted on top of the feather.

The sentiment was chosen from Heroart’s “come fly with me” and white heat embossed on black cardstock.

The last card is to my dear boss who is also a good fd of mine. It was SSS blossoming stamp set and no line water colored with prima odyssey and decadent pie watercolor confetti. The sentiment is from the same stamp set too.

Changes is the only thing that stay consistent. I truly wish that all of them to have a bright future. I wish that our path shall cross again.
