Still Tim Holtz. This time I used the December Doodles stamp set.
Considered the clock is ticking, I decided to make a simple and quick card which can be quickly multiplied. Therefore I took the reindeer image from the stamp set and stamped in the middle with walnut stain distress oxide ink.
I liked the fact that the reindeer is full of motion and gives a lively feeling to the card.
I also stamped the sentiment “winter wonderland” also in the same stamp set.
Then I stamped the same reindeer image using PTI’s Classic Kraft ink. The card still seems a little empty to me. And it needs a little something. After some thought, I reached for the PTI’s Stitched in time borders stamp set and used the larger flower image to fill in the gap.
I really liked this borders stamp set as it bnb is very versatile and can be used in many different ways.
Lastly, to embellish my card, I have added some red ribbon (which was made by dying white satin ribbon with Heroart’s red royal ink) to create a scarf for the deer and a bow on the card.
Isn’t it cute to have the reindeer wearing a scarf in this cold winter night?
