Christmas Card Making – Day 5

Coming to day 5 and I am still stuck with this year’s PTI border. This card comes to me first with thevintage cream linen card stock which I have in my stash.

To make it more vintage looking. I have smooshed down some fine linen ink on my glass mat and slightly watered it down with a sprayer. I smooshed my cardstock against the color and created this very vintage looking cardstock.

Then, in the center top of the card, I stamped down the individual image of the Seasonal Borders: Winter stamp set & Stencil with Spring Rain, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Cocoa Bean, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet.

After that, I ‘ve decided to frame up the the card and have the ribbon and the centerpiece. So, I stamped the card with Stitch in Time Borders die set, and gold heat emboss withRanger Princess Gold embossing powder.

Even with the border, the card seems a little empty to me. Therefore, I’ve taken the pine bough from Make it market mini kit: Poinsettia & Pine and randomly stamped around with the second generation of the ripe avocado ink.

Last of all, I have chosen the sentiment from Pen &Ink Christmas stamp set and stamped with dark chocolate ink.

That finished the card for today. Hope that you’d like it.
