watercolor the art impression way…without the stamp

I am no painter, but I always admire people who can paint. Recently, I am obsessed with the AI’s video on using their stamps to create watercolor pictures.

While it takes time for me to order all those stampset from faraway US, I couldn’t wait but try using what I have on hand to create the card below.

I’ve used the tin waterjar from the Monthly Hero kit July 2017 and the flowers are from various stampsets.

I colored them using Tombow watercolor marker and stamped on watercolor paper.

For the background peices I have used distress oxide ink to smoosh on Bristol paper and stamped with Heroarts Branches Bold Prints background stamps and a peice of Heroarts woodgrain cardstock both die cut with stitched rectangle dies from Simon says stamps.

I like the card very much, hope you would enjoy as much.
